A support group on “Exploring internal and external resources for improving psychological well-being” was held in Kyiv
On May 3, 2026, the Mentally.one team held a support group titled “Exploring Internal and External Resources for Improving Psychological Well-Being”, dedicated to restoring inner balance, preventing exhaustion, and identifying sources of energy in everyday life.
During the meeting, participants explored their personal resources and reserves, learned to recognize the signs of overload and emotional exhaustion, and discussed the causes of burnout and ways to prevent it. Special attention was given to the importance of self-care and replenishing one’s inner resources before reaching a state of critical exhaustion.
The support group combined theoretical insights, self-reflection, and practical exercises. Using metaphorical associative cards, participants reflected on positive memories and sources of support in their lives. They also completed the “Wheel of Balance” and “Battery” exercises, which helped them assess different areas of their lives, identify factors that replenish their energy, and recognize aspects that may require additional attention.
A separate part of the session focused on working with resource-oriented metaphorical cards, allowing participants to explore their internal and external sources of support more deeply, recognize existing opportunities for recovery, and discover new ways to strengthen their psychological well-being.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of trust, openness, and mutual support. Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences, hear different perspectives, and take away practical tools that can be applied in their daily lives.
We would like to thank all participants for their active engagement, sincerity, and willingness to explore their personal resources. Meetings like these help people better understand themselves, strengthen psychological resilience, and find the strength to overcome life’s challenges.
