Support Group Held on “Anxiety. How to Accept It and Live With It”

On May 7, 2026, the Mentally.one team held a support group titled “Anxiety: How to Accept It and Live With It”, dedicated to exploring the nature of anxiety, developing self-support skills, and fostering a more conscious relationship with one’s emotions.

During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to look at anxiety from a new perspective and explore the role it plays in their lives. Special attention was given to understanding the difference between the anxious “noise” that drains energy and distracts from what truly matters, and the valuable “signals” that may point to important needs and life challenges.

The group combined theoretical elements, self-reflection, and practical exercises. Participants worked with metaphors and metaphorical associative cards, which helped them gain a deeper understanding of their experiences and discover new ways of relating to their anxiety. During the “Two Rooms” exercise, participants explored different aspects of their inner experiences and practiced engaging in an internal dialogue with their emotions.

A separate part of the session was dedicated to the “My Safe Place” technique, which helped participants connect with feelings of inner stability, safety, and calm. This practice provided an opportunity to reconnect with personal resources and identify ways to support themselves during difficult moments.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of trust, openness, and mutual support. Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences, listen to others, and gain practical tools for living with anxiety in a healthier and more balanced way.

We would like to thank all participants for their sincerity, active engagement, and willingness to explore their inner world. Meetings like these help people better understand themselves, strengthen psychological resilience, and discover new resources to support their well-being.
