A relationship support group based on the film “call me by your name” was held
On May 16, 2026, the Mentally.one team held a support group focused on exploring relationships through the lens of the film “Call Me by Your Name.” The session was facilitated by Anna, who invited participants to use the film’s story as a starting point for a deeper exploration of their own emotions, experiences, and relationship dynamics.
During the meeting, participants discussed intimacy and personal boundaries, as well as how people experience love, breakups, loss, and other complex emotional challenges. Particular attention was given to whether we allow ourselves to experience our feelings honestly or, conversely, try to suppress or avoid them.
The film served as a catalyst for reflection on personal experiences, relationships, and emotional responses. Participants had the opportunity to share their impressions of the movie, discuss the characters and situations that resonated with them most, and draw parallels with their own lives.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of trust, openness, and mutual respect. Through shared discussion, participants gained a deeper understanding of their needs, emotional reactions, and capacity to feel, while also discovering new perspectives on themselves and their relationships.
We would like to thank all participants for their sincerity, openness, and willingness to share their thoughts and experiences. Meetings like these create a safe space for self-discovery, emotional growth, and mutual support.
