A support group on forgiveness and responsibility in relationships was held
On June 7, 2026, the Mentally.one team held a support group dedicated to the topic of forgiveness as an important part of human relationships. The meeting focused on exploring why it can sometimes be difficult to apologize, accept apologies from others, or forgive ourselves.
During the session, participants reflected on their personal experiences of guilt, responsibility, and reconciliation. In a safe and supportive environment, they had the opportunity to explore how our words and actions affect other people, as well as what helps restore trust and maintain healthy relationships.
Special attention was given to the topics of self-forgiveness and personal responsibility. Participants discussed why apologizing can evoke internal resistance, whether it is always necessary to forgive others, and how to find a balance between accepting one’s mistakes and striving for positive change.
As part of the practical exercises, participants engaged in activities designed to increase awareness of their emotions and experiences. Working with a list of resentments, writing a letter of apology, and completing the “Mirror” exercise helped participants take a closer look at their personal experiences, express important words to themselves or others, and move toward greater acceptance and inner reconciliation.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of trust, respect, and mutual support. Participants had the opportunity to share their thoughts, hear different perspectives, and gain new tools for building more honest and responsible relationships.
We would like to thank all participants for their openness, sincerity, and willingness to explore challenging yet important topics. Meetings like these help develop empathy, strengthen relationships, and foster a more compassionate attitude toward oneself and others.
