Therapeutic Support Group for Men “In the Garden”: Grounding, Mindfulness, and New Resources

On June 22, a psychological support group “Grounding and Mindfulness Practices” was held in Kyiv.

This week, our support group took place in an unusual yet deeply atmospheric format — in a specially designed space filled with plants and audiovisual effects. The environment we co-created with participants turned out to be especially warm, cozy, and resourceful.

The focus of the meeting was on grounding and mindfulness techniques — those that help us reconnect with ourselves, feel our bodies, and sense the supportive presence of nature. We got to know each other by sharing stories about places that replenish us, practiced meditation, searched for our inner “place of calm,” and imagined ourselves in the future.

The special setting, enriched with plants, created a unique atmosphere of natural safety. Each exercise gained new depth — bodies relaxed more easily, imagination flowed more freely, and the audio setup helped us dive deeper into the practices.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us with an open heart.
