Therapeutic Support Group for Men “Procrastination and Perfectionism”
On September 1, 2025, a thematic group was held dedicated to the topic of procrastination and perfectionism. The participants explored how the fear of doing something “not good enough” leads to postponing important tasks, and why procrastination only reinforces feelings of guilt and self-criticism.
During the group session, the following topics were discussed:
- the causes of procrastination and its main types;
- the connection between procrastination and perfectionism;
- practical techniques that help overcome postponement of tasks;
- approaches to goal-setting that prevent procrastination from interfering with achievement.
The participants also practiced acting in a state of “imperfection,” learned to better understand their perfectionism, and discovered their own ways of moving forward without being hindered by excessive self-demand.
Thanks to the group format, an atmosphere of support and openness was created, which helped everyone realize that it is possible to break free from the vicious circle of procrastination.
