An Online support group on “Balancing resources and burnout. Achieving goals without losing yourself” was held
On May 11, 2026, the Mentally.one team held an online support group on the topic “Balancing Resources and Burnout: Achieving Goals Without Losing Yourself.” The session was facilitated by psychologist Zhanna, who helped participants explore the relationship between personal effectiveness, self-care, and the risks of emotional exhaustion.
During the meeting, participants discussed how the pursuit of achievements and meaningful goals can be combined with a caring and attentive approach to one’s emotional and physical well-being. Special attention was given to the signs of exhaustion that often go unnoticed in the early stages, as well as ways to restore personal resources before burnout develops.
The group provided a space for open discussion of personal experiences, challenges, and difficulties related to maintaining a balance between active engagement and rest. Participants had the opportunity to share their own recovery strategies, talk about factors that help them stay motivated, and discuss risks that may contribute to burnout.
Throughout the session, participants also reflected on how to stay connected to their own needs, avoid losing their sense of self while pursuing goals, and find healthier ways to maintain productivity without excessive pressure or overload.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of trust, openness, and mutual support. Participants gained a deeper understanding of their personal resources, learned to recognize signs of fatigue, and explored new approaches to maintaining psychological well-being.
We would like to thank all participants for their active engagement, sincerity, and willingness to share their experiences. Meetings like these help people maintain a balance between achievement and self-care, strengthen psychological resilience, and prevent emotional burnout.
