A support group on “How to find the feeling of ‘I am home’” was held
On June 11, 2026, the Mentally.one team held a support group titled “How to Find the Feeling of ‘I Am Home’”, dedicated to exploring the emotional and physical experience of home as an inner state rather than merely a geographical location.
During the meeting, participants reflected on what the feeling of home means to them and which memories, images, people, or experiences are connected to feelings of safety, warmth, and acceptance. Special attention was given to identifying internal sources of support that help create a sense of calm and stability regardless of external circumstances.
The group combined reflection, creative exercises, and open discussion. Participants took part in an associative exercise, worked in pairs on the theme “Childhood Home vs. Home in the Body,” and explored their experiences through music and personal stories. This format encouraged participants to look at the concept of home from a new perspective and reflect on its significance in their lives.
A special part of the session focused on sharing songs that evoke feelings of comfort, belonging, and inner peace. Through memories, emotions, and associations, participants had the opportunity to better understand what helps them feel “at home” and reconnect with their inner resources.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of trust, respect, and mutual support. Participants shared their stories, discovered new aspects of their experiences, and explored ways to create a sense of home for themselves even during periods of uncertainty and change.
We would like to thank all participants for their openness, sincerity, and willingness to engage in self-exploration. Meetings like these help strengthen inner resilience, maintain a connection with oneself, and discover a sense of home within.
